Review on ACDelco 39114 Professional Automatic Tensioner by Jimmy Hargrove

Will have to replace the belt tensioner as the original one was damaged. The original T60 matrix was damaged and the belt tension could not be released. I bought an ACDelco replacement because buyers of the cheaper options reported problems. It was easy to replace, but when I tried to pull the retaining pin out with a stuck T60 fork, the same thing happened and the fork was damaged, preventing it from turning the spring. And before the manufacturer raises the obvious guard, the T60 was properly seated. There is a serious discrepancy between the spring tension and the crappy alloy used in its manufacture. This is not a quality control issue, it is a design issue. I would not spend more money on this product again and I do not recommend it to anyone.
