I had to exchange the first time. The box was sealed plastic but with no tool to remove the fasteners. The replacement came in a box with no sealed bag, but the tool was in the bag. Strange. However, this kit comes in many different sizes and does a pretty good job of accommodating lost clips, even if they're not quite the ones that were originally on the machine.
