Review on Ninja Nutri Pro Compact Personal Blender with 18 Oz. and 24 Oz. Portable Cups, Black/Silver Finish by Jessica Hill

I purposely waited a bit to write this review to see if this item would hold up but unfortunately it didn't . In terms of strength and ability to make a great cocktail, she is amazing. However, apart from the motor, it is a cheap piece of plastic and wears out very quickly. The blade assembly that you insert into the engine must be positioned just right. Otherwise, the device can be easily damaged. This happened to me and basically rendered the device unusable. I called Ninja as it is under warranty but they told me the warranty only covers the motor and blade replacement is not available. However, they were ready to replace everything. Unit at blade assembly cost which was $39.99 plus $6.99 shipping and sales tax. So basically I would pay another $49.99 for a replacement that I already paid $69.99 for in January and it probably still isn't holding up? It doesn't make sense to me and I won't do it.
