We have a class A motorhome that has been standing still for months. Home batteries have a charging system, chassis batteries do not. I installed this unit to keep the starter batteries charged and protected at all times. On my last trip I found that I couldn't start the microwave even though my home batteries showed a full charge because my home batteries had lost capacity due to a sulfation problem. I decided to test the repair function of this charger before buying replacement batteries and was amazed to find that the batteries have been refurbished so the microwave can be used again. I've always had good luck with NOCO chargers and this new system is the best.
