It's like the RTX 3070 of monitors. Same performance as zowie for *almost* half the price with better features (hope you get the analogy). I say do it. This is one of the cheapest yet best 1080p 240Hz monitors out there right now. The IPS+ panel surpasses the Zowie in terms of motion clarity thanks to backlight strobing. Enough. (Consider the brightness if you're in a bright room though, but this isn't an issue for gamers in a dark room.) Best PPI for 1080p (an amazing 23.8 inches), good peak brightness with no strobing, love the colors, Image quality, text quality, everything. People complain about the stand, but this is a very, very solid budget stand. The OSD buttons are very cheap and have a terrible feel, but I love how Viewsonic tries to map the OSD buttons to physical buttons on the screen.
