This is a spotlight and goes far, not floodlamp

I was on the search for a ridiculously bright handheld "searchlight", and didn't want to pay any more than I had to. This thing is lightweight, tiny for the output it does.feels cheap and expensive at the same time. The switch has a flash and dim modes to click through. So, the light output itself.no quantitative measurement here, but I aim it a block or two away and it clearly illuminates things. Produces a concise circle of light 10-20ft across at those ranges, with a pretty abrupt cutoff of darkness around it. Can't say how long it will last, only used a few times but I'm happy with it.
