As someone who has had plantar fasciitis (PF) for several months and is improving but not gone yet, I bought these to walk short to medium distances based on feedback from others. They don't look very stylish which doesn't bother me but for the 27 I paid they are very good value. However, I have replaced the included insole with a better one that offers more arch support and find them as comfortable as you would expect a person with a disability to walk a mile or two, two or more, on local sidewalks to go. They're probably not really suited to walking on a bumpy trail and I have no idea if they're good for running. I don't know how long they will last but so far they are good. But for their purpose they are well suited to work at a cheap price.
