Will NOT hold a dog that has broken out of its cage!

Don't waste your money on this if you want a crate that can actually hold your lost dog. ... The body of this box seems strong enough, but as the saying goes: A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. The door and latch are practically useless. In addition, the upper grille is only screwed in four places. I had to beef up the middle because the XL has enough power for each of my dogs to lift the top enough to bend over and run. This had to be secured with clamps in the middle on both long sides. I installed them and sat my dogs. 20 minutes. that's all, maybe less. 20 minutes and my bully was out and my GSDx was halfway there and slammed out the bottom of the door. I can't let them go because they have food aggression and a strong prey drive and they share space with some smaller animals. There would certainly have been injuries and deaths. To make sure they stay secure I had to add extra clips and chains. This is exactly what I was trying to avoid as the nannies seem to forget this and the dogs come out and then fight. Totally disappointed in these boxes! For the money I spent it definitely wasn't worth it.
