This antenna gave me really good reception where I was (Florence near the coke ovens). We managed to communicate between 4 trucks, we had no problems. Very clear with Uniden BEARCAT CB Radio with Sideband and Weatherband (980SSB) and very easy to install and set up. We went pretty deep in the water and the antenna handled the trees like a champ. Very flexible. The only thing to watch out for in the trees is your tip, mine fell off. But you can order a set of 2 for about $5. Be sure to purchase other required items: 18" RG-58A/U coaxial cable with Pl-259 connectors, Firestik SS-3H heavy-duty stainless steel antenna spring, and Firestik K-4A stud with screw-on coaxial connector for attaching the antenna mirror. You also need a way to attach it.Some kind of clamp.I just drilled a hole in the front bumper and mounted there.I really like my setup with this product.
