This is one of the few things that has stopped my dog's paws from licking/itching. Not the whole day. I still have to apply it 2-3 times a day but it does the job. The 16 ounce bottle works great with the 8 ounce sprayer. This is a "lotion" meant to be sprayed. With all of this, I'm a little worried about the composition. Two of the first three ingredients were unknown to me. I asked the company if this product was non-toxic and never got an answer, so I checked the ingredients. The websites I found indicated that alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride and tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide had low to moderate toxicity when ingested. mmm If your dog is licking his paws and you spray it to stop him, he will eventually lick his paws again. Hence it is swallowed. It might not hurt to lick this thing once or twice, but if you use it every day and they lick it every day, I can't imagine it's any good. I'm not a chemist. So NaturVet may post conflicting information, but until then I would recommend using this product sparingly. Or maybe see if you can find something more natural that works.
