Review on 🔌 Enhanced Syba I/O Crest SI-MPE24046 2-Port Gigabit Mini PCI-e Ethernet Network Interface Card by Troy Robinson

This adapter is just terrible! Ever since I installed it I've had nothing but trouble. I thought Syba had decent quality products but I was wrong. After the installation only one port is actually connected. It turns out that both ports have the same MAC address! I've seen this before with cheap Chinese Bluetooth adapters, but never with a network card adapter. After I had manually assigned a different MAC to the 2nd port, I was able to transmit data in short packets with one or the other adapter for a short time, but the transmission did not even start with both active and the connection broke. So much for multichannel SMB. Adapter teaming works, but overall speeds never exceed 1Gbps, even for two different NAS devices at the same time.
