I have bought these several times for some pickle jars and have had several units in a jar and found that they are much further than the advertised 2 degrees, one unit measures 58% and another for example, gets 64% measure up. It's not bad for an approximation, but if you're looking for exact precision in all units, it is. you should probably look elsewhere. I'll start with them now, although I'll still use them for basic info and the price is decent, but I still wish they were more accurate.
