So unless you're as knowledgeable as I am, never leave an open coaxial connector anywhere in your home. I have coax cable going to several WiFi extenders, but for years there have been two no-cable splitters plugged into a pair of ports. When I installed these terminators, the WiFi strength increased and stabilized.
