Absolutely amazed! It's good!

I didn't know what to expect when I ordered these but figured that given the low price I wouldn't take that much risk. I ordered 1.50 strength in a colorful striped pattern and hoped for the best. Well I'm shocked. No, they're not as good as $40 or $60 reading glasses, but they're great for light use. They are made of plastic - frames and lenses - and very light. The bridge and lenses are a single piece of plastic - it seems solid enough, but it's not a metal bridge. But it is comfortable and fits my face well. My face is a bit wide and they fit great without pinching. The headphones are also plastic - there are NO METAL CABLES inside, so they're not very adjustable. But on the other hand they are very light and slightly curved inwards so I think they will work well for narrow faces. They don't even press on my broad head; I hardly feel them. I also like the "short" lens size. I just had cataract surgery and only need glasses for reading and hobbies (composing music and making maps). I love being able to look "over" the lenses and they are perfect for that. They're thin, but certainly wide enough that I don't have to adjust anything when looking down to read or up to watch TV. I am very happy! UPDATE: 5/8/2015 - I have 3 pairs of these now and they are holding up surprisingly well. I still have the original pair (1.50) and have ordered two pairs in the size 2.50. I don't wear them all the time - only when I need them - but I still wear them for about 2 hours a day on average and none of them show any signs of wear. The case of the first pair looks a bit worn, which is probably due to the fact that I carry it in my purse all the time. Very happy with it so far and recommend it. For "cheap" readers, they are of surprisingly good quality.
