This heater's thermostat is not working properly. If you turn it on before the heater turn on point, it will stay on. No matter how hot it gets, it never turns off. If you follow the instructions by turning the thermostat on "high" until it reaches the desired temperature and then turning it off until it just goes off, it will never turn on again. No matter how cold it is, it will never catch fire. On the other hand, it doesn't heat that well. I thought that all these heaters with the same shape, power, etc. are the same. That's not the case. It turns nicely orange, but the heat generated is below normal. The only reason I gave this unit 2 stars is because it turns on and heat comes out. It's just really pathetic. return this week.
