Works best with thread and floss

They definitely work better than putting thread on those flat plastic pieces (string left on for long will wrinkle and be very tedious to use). There is a "hand" to hold the paper from the floss with the number on it, but it doesn't work very well. I have several numbered stickers and just stick a sticker on each holder. This works fairly well until you reach the end of the thread and have enough length left to wrap around the holder. However, I like them much better than the flat plastic parts and will definitely order more of them if necessary.
