Finicky, but worth it for the price

It works, but apparently only with certain paper types. Tried printer paper, cardstock, scrapbooking paper and photo paper. The photo paper is the only one that consistently worked, which is great because it has the best quality for the pictures. but I was hoping to use some of my fancy patterned scrapbook paper to make some button sets. The first machine was defective. It was almost impossible to pull the lever down, and it would get stuck and I had to pry it open. I contacted the seller, they asked for a picture or video of the problem. After I provided it, they sent me a d replacement at no cost. I also counted the buttons and was missing about half. They refunded me the difference in price for the buttons. They were very helpful, and the second machine, while a bit finicky, works well. Out of 75 buttons, I only ruined 14, and of those, only 2 after I switched to the photo paper. Just be mindful of any quirks your machine has and do it the same way every single time.Oh, and like many others have said; the paper cutter is crap. I got a 1.25" circle punch, and that works well. The problem is that it is slightly smaller than the mylar that goes on the button. Ideally it should be the exact same size. I couldn't find a 1 3/8 circle punch, so I stuck witht he one I got. Even though the paper you use for the button is a bit smaller, if you carefully center it behind the mylar before placing it in the machine, you should have little to no problem making a good button.

Pros
  • High-Quality Material: The button badge maker is made of high hardness materials. The cast iron body with a metal base makes it sturdy and durable. And the reasonable structure makes your operation safer and more enjoyable.
