UPDATE: After almost a year of stable operation, my device started making horrible noises, so I was worried. I contacted support 3 days before my anniversary and informed them of my issue. Shortly after I reported this issue, a new unit arrived at my house with no questions asked. With that in mind, I'm a bit concerned that this device won't last a year, but I'm impressed with the manufacturer's response to a warranty claim. We hope this neat little kit will continue to perform well and last much longer than a year for the price it's worth. I am using this dehumidifier for a cargo container cabin I built. The room is small (10x8) and I was dealing with high humidity and mold. I installed this dehumidifier and routed the drain out of the cabin wall. This block is very effective at removing moisture compared to some of the larger blocks. I tried another model and it didn't work as well as this unit, in fact the first unit showed low moisture and stopped removing moisture. I hooked up this bad boy and it displayed the moisture level and immediately started pumping out the water. Hope it lasts a long time, that's the only thing I'm worried about at the moment given the price.
