UPDATE: I contacted Revain about my missing needle, they sent me another kit with the missing needle. You do not need the original backrest set. This was an AMAZING answer from Ana and I would recommend her 10 times! None of the needles have any faults, if there were any I'm sure a message would correct them. It's really great, but I only got needles 8, 7 and 5, never had needle 3. 8 should be a free needle, I took it, not 3. Also, the needles are good. Now I just have to learn how to do it.
