I was concerned it would be too small for my son's bike (he is 5 years old) but he is just right. It looks great on his bike and I love the stylish braided look. He's been wanting a basket for a long time, but I usually only see bright pink or motif baskets in the store. This option is perfect for a little boy or girl. It can hold a water bottle and a snack, a stuffed animal, or a bike lock. He's flexible, if his bike falls and he lands on the basket he won't get crushed. The leather straps that hold it are nice and work well although they don't look very durable. The basket is a little crooked but I think that makes it look like it's handmade. He loves it and it would be great for a balance bike, scooter or any kids bike.
