I bought this car as a Christmas present for my wife. She wanted a high-performance machine with more stitches. The car looks good and initially worked well. Now there are several problems; Do not sew at speeds above slow and medium. Doesn't sew well on multiple layers of denim. After sewing jeans, the machine began to knock terribly. He fixed all the glitches, replaced the needle, replaced the bobbin case. Brother offered to take the machine to a certified Brother dealer. The dealer said it's the take-up lever that hits the sheath at any ward speed. Unfortunately it was 9 days too late, to return the Revain car. The car is sent in for repairs. Funny how a new car has problems. I'm disappointed, I'm stuck with a lower car. She has been sewing for 50 years and has several machines: two Kenmores and a Brother and Singer. Brother doesn't have the quality it used to have. We just bought a Janome from a local dealer to replace.
