The installation was a bit of a circus, but I managed it in the end. Important to know: Use the current router's password to log into the extended network. I'm still not sure why when setting up the extender the webpage prompts for a password as I've never successfully returned to the page. I kept re-entering the password I set on the power strip and the f-bombs were about to drop. We still get the occasional down signal, but 95% of the time we do (real stats, right out of my head). Now we can make calls upstairs via the WLAN. We had to move the extension a bit closer to the router (we're upstairs and 2 walls from the router). Since the move, uptime has gone from 85% to 95% (again, carefully verified stats). Resetting the extender was easy and I had to do it twice due to a password mix-up. If you're having connection issues, try this guy. Worst case scenario, return it within 30 days and get your dollars back. Time is irrevocable.
