Review on ☕ Cuisinart DCC-2650 Brew Central: The Ultimate Programmable 12-Cup Coffeemaker by Djkutt Mack

I bought these because I wanted a coffee maker with a good thermos. Cheaper options are available, but I assumed this Cuisinart unit would be an improvement. Unfortunately, I have found that the vacuum jug does not keep the coffee warm very well. After about an hour, the coffee has cooled down enough that I heat it up again in the microwave after pouring a cup. It's clear that most of the heat escapes through the lid and plastic top. Other problems - it's difficult to pour water into the tank - at least as a left-hander; the basket often drips when the jug is removed during brewing - the small valve at the bottom is unreliable; the pot tends to drip when coffee is poured from it; The basket does not sit flat unless in a coffee maker, so ground coffee in the basket can cause coffee to end up in the water tank and other places. Just bad design and execution. If you are looking for a thermos with good performance I would keep looking.
