Stable, easy to assemble children's goal with a few defects. Our stair is 48 inches from wall to center rail so I order a large size. Unfortunately, the distance from the wall to the edge of the fabric is 52 inches, so there is a couple of inches of fabric to wrap around the post, but the straps are both attached to the edge of the fabric, so the only way to keep the fabric from unraveling and around twist the pin to make it very tight on the pin. However, there is no padding or fabric on the straps and clasps to prevent them from getting scratched. Also, each time you use the ladder, you must fold and unfold the post, loosen and snap the three latches. It's a real struggle when you're wearing underwear or a baby. I improvised: put pool noodle stuffing under the straps and buckles, drilled a hole in the "spacer plate" which when placed over another spacer has enough room for the tie, making a very handy fastener that you can use can do with one hand. . A bit of neoprene or other padding under the latch would be very helpful.
