Proper faucet and hose for my Bounder's service compartment

I have an old Bounder with a basic, inferior shower compartment and flush hose. While under normal circumstances I wouldn't bother replacing the faucet, hose and shower head, one of the faucet valves no longer closed fully and all hose and shower head fittings were dry and tested so a replacement was the only option. While my service compartment doesn't need a "flat" flush shower like the flush showers in travel trailers, the shower hose in the no-space compartment always got in the way. Laying the hose is good, and the hose itself has always been stiff and heavily twisted. While surfing the web and watching videos on replacing outdoor flushing showers, I came across a user who found this product and linked to it. I was impressed by the concept; a simple faucet with a quick-release coiled hose and a spray head that didn't look like an RV shower head, but more like the spray you put on the hose when you wash your car; a true all-purpose atomizer. Although the YouTube video I saw this in was a few years old, I'm fortunate that Dura Faucet still makes this product or a variant of what's in the video. Prime shipping got it to me very quickly. Not only was I impressed with how well it was packaged when it arrived, but also with the overall quality. Yes, the faucet and equipment are all plastic, but RV faucets are almost always plastic. The hose and sprayer are of very good quality, with good apparent weight and comfortable hand feel. The mixer itself is very simple and is perfect for a standard RV 4" spread with standard threaded fittings. I bought a black faucet with a black hose and sprayer. Mixing valves with 1/4 turn, basically on and off. with minimal water pressure regulation. I suppose that's because the handheld sprayer gives you the best control over the water pressure and amount of water used. The spiral hose has two different ends; The end that connects to the faucet is "proprietary" with two tabs, 1/4 turn locking. Align the tabs with the outlet on the faucet, press and turn clockwise about 1/4 turn to lock. This way you can turn on the valves when the hose is not connected and no water is flowing. The other end of the spiral hose is a standard garden hose fitting. Any standard garden hose spray nozzle can theoretically be attached to this end. Hose, let's say if the atomizer that came with it broke you had another atomizer that you thought was better. The spray nozzle is a lightweight multifunction nozzle. You can find this attachment at any hardware store or hardware store, but it is color coded to match the packaging you have purchased: all black or white and blue combined. It feels comfortable in the hand, easily rotates the selector switch for different spray patterns, and has an adjustment screw on the trigger. I no longer keep my compartment shower hose in the service compartment, or I am not forced to do so. I keep it in the basement with my fresh water hoses and pull it out when I need it. separate shower hose for maintenance of waste water hoses.
