Review on Airaid AIR 300 269 300 269 Intake System by Ans Brownlee

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great air intake system

While I'm happy with this intake system, the truck has more power, but I like the fact that it's American made, well built, and looks nice under the hood. You can also hear the turbo in action, it's not loud or annoying, which I like. The warranty is one of the best for an air intake system, I did some research into the intake system before finally deciding on the Airaid because of everything I've mentioned here. Airaid is more expensive than other systems, but you get a lot more bang for your buck in terms of performance, quality, warranty, and American worker support. I would like to mention that I had a small issue with the factory mounting bolts being too short when using the supplied rubber mounting washers in the kit that sit between the fender and the air intake. I had to use the thinner discs I bought at the hardware store. so that enough thread comes out to fasten the screws. Another problem I encountered was the following. that the instructions don't mention removing the wiring harness from the back of the alternator before installing the intake manifold, but that's no big deal. My truck is a 1995 Ram 2500 Cummins Diesel and this air intake system was supposed to fit 1994 thru 2002 Dodges so the issues I had were probably slight differences in model years and to be expected. I still give it 5 stars because it works as advertised and I have no other issues with it.
