It looks rubbery, but it's not.
Let me explain, these are TEXTURED Plastic Side Handles. There's no gumming or anything, it's more like raindrops made from elm glue. Which honestly was disappointing at first until I had my first extended gaming session with them. Rubber holds heat like crazy and makes more sense to me now that it's better than smooth plastic. Pretty solid product when you know what you're getting.
