This drive is exactly what I was looking for. I needed something portable with its own case to protect it from bumps. An added benefit was that the cable was attached and had both USB and USB-C ends. Now I don't have to worry about losing the cable and I can use it on several different laptops without having to carry around a separate adapter. It was easy to set up, I just plugged it in and the CD played without any issues. I haven't had a chance to use the RW option yet as I don't normally write/create CDs anymore. This wasn't a necessary feature for me, but I don't see how that could be a problem. It was a great purchase. I'm glad I chose this item from all the possible options. He ticked boxes I didn't even know I was looking for.
