Works but be careful with your specific model, modification required for # 72300
Be sure to check which battery your model requires. Mine uses a battery that looks more like a regular AA battery with a positive and negative terminal on each end. This battery in the form of a +positive pole at the top and a +positive pole at the bottom, the -negative pole is actually a protrusion that comes out of the bottom edge and folds up on the side. If you have a typical +/- you can easily modify this battery to work with yours. Just put some tape on the bottom, then pull the tab (negative terminal) down and fold the bottom over. This will change the battery to have the correct configuration. A NOTICE. The battery I received was #72000. If you need #72300 and you don't make this change you can damage the otoscope by shorting it out.
