Friend in the rain about lights and ceiling fans
I ordered four strings to hang in my garden and they looked great for about a month and then one night during one they were light rain and my wife noticed that they had gone out. I did some research and found that the outlet they were plugged into had a blown fuse. I reset the switch but the light didn't come on. I've tried each string individually and even ordered replacement bulbs to see if swapping would help, but now I have four dead strings. I'm baffled as to exactly what happened, but for fixtures meant to be hung outside they definitely don't weather the weather very well.
