I wore this wool hat/scarf while walking on the coldest days of this winter - below 20 degrees - and it kept my head and face warm! The hat fits well and is not too big or too small; Once I wrap the scarf around my neck, my hands fit comfortably in the mitten pockets at each end, although one side hangs slightly lower than the other as other reviewers have noted. However, overall I am very happy with this product as basically I wanted something warm and comfortable. The only downside is that the materials seem to carry a lot of static electricity.
