Some people don't like uneven sides. You are perfect! You wrap the longer side around the back and front and then tuck it under the chin through the loop (main knot) and it fits the short side perfectly. Gorgeous and super soft. I would buy this again.

I wore this wool hat/scarf while walking on the coldest days of this winter - below 20 degrees - and it kept my head and face warm! The hat fits well and is not too big or too small; Once I wrap the scarf around my neck, my hands fit comfortably in the mitten pockets at each end, although one side hangs slightly lower than the other as other reviewers have noted. I wanted something trendy, warm, cute and big enough to wear over my big ponytail or bulky hair without knotting or flattening it, it works great! It's not cheap at all, it's very warm, I can easily pull it over my head, with plenty of room in the back, and it even has warm hand pockets to stay warm. It was a great purchase! I highly recommend it - the only thing I would say is that it's small at the big end, but you can wear it as tight or loose as you like - love it!
