Review on Alpine S S50 5 25 Inch Coaxial Speakers by Mark Albright

Worked great for my application in a '98 Subaru Forester when driven by a KTP-445U Alpine amp, the tone is good as the 5 1/4 speaker is very clean, the bass is pretty good and I have a high pass. Filters from the amp I have on them to make sure I don't clip them. Can be used without amp for factory replacement. I would recommend them to anyone who needs to fill 5 1/4 holes in doors.
