not waterproof or waterproof

Upon arrival and unpacking, one of the lamps had a dangling lens and it was rattling. The lid was tight, but when it rained water could leak out and it fell through. I considered using silicone or sealant but decided to return them and get something else. I don't think they will survive the first ride in the rain without repairs. Too bad because by connecting to a 9v battery they glowed and were bright for their size and price.
