The pillow arrived rolled up in a box. Set it out for it to 'fluff up' as instructed. It is a foam/gel type pillow, but the shape of the pillow does not change when sleeping on it. I sleep on my back and sides. When sleeping on my back, it felt like the back of my head was in a downward slope. Made my head throb! When sleeping on my side, there just wasn't enough pillow for me to get my arms around it. I even pulled up the model picture online to see if I was missing something. Basically the pillow isn't large enough, and I am a small person (5'4", 120 lbs.) The pillow construction is cool to the touch, as advertised, which was nice. I had to return it, though, after trying it out for a couple of weeks. Back to hunting for a pillow that will support my neck pain.
