After 5 months of regrowing my roots and the salons still couldn't help me due to the recent pandemic, I gave up and bought homemade hair dye from a potentially trustworthy home store. Company. They were supposed to provide you with a "welcome" brush, but I figured I'd still need a bowl and an extra brush. I'm so glad I bought this in addition to what they gave me with my hair color kit! Their work was poor and difficult. This professional ATB hair set was amazing. The brush was firm and held hair color which was great for applying color to my terrible gray roots. The brush had a tail comb that made it very easy to part the hair and apply the hair color continuously. The bowl was great, I could easily mix the hair color. I'm not a pro so I don't know how it compares to other tools but for me the brushes worked well enough to get all my roots and spread the color nicely and evenly. It saturated the dye in my roots leaving most of the gray. I love it!
