Review on Omron HJ-720ITC Pocket Pedometer: Enhanced Fitness Tracking with Health Management Software by Charles Galan

I was really looking forward to this step counter. When I received it I was curious to see how it works. However, I immediately had problems downloading the software. I couldn't get it to work no matter what I tried. So I dug deeper and discovered that the software is ONLY compatible with Windows XP or 2000! It doesn't even work with Windows 7, let alone 8.0 or 8.1. I was very disappointed! The product description for this item should have mentioned software limitations. However, I tried the pedometer. Turns out I really like it. I hope they fix the software compatibility issue at some point. If this problem were solved, this would be an exceptional product.
