I originally bought this for a trip, but that trip was canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. At first I considered returning this towel but it smelled and looked very good and was presented very well so I decided to keep it and give it a try if (when?) the world ever gets back to normal. I gave it 5/ for absorbency. I have shoulder length dreadlocks and have been using this towel to dry my hair after washing it at least twice a week since I got it. Now my hair dries the same day instead of the next day since using this towel! For travel and light weight I gave both 5/5. I haven't taken it on trips due to shelter orders, but it packs very little and air dries very quickly for me here in Colorado. Once it's air dried, I fold it up and save for my next shampoo. It fits perfectly in a quart-sized zippered holdall. I only use this towel for my hair. The body was not used for drying. I'm one of those girls that NEEDS two towels to try on and I have a separate velor towel that I've tested and also bought for travel. with my two towels. So that's saying something! I can highly recommend this towel, at least as a travel towel for drying your hair. If they made a bath sheet size I would definitely buy one based on their performance.
