I sprayed the inside with some type of rust preventative that turns the rust black. The edges of the secondary pipe in this piece are blackened, a good sign that they are already beginning to rust. The outer beauty part is ok and looks great. Having sealed and painted the inside, I'm glad it will last a while. For the price I'm satisfied. For $12 I'm not surprised and I'm ready to go. If you expect something better, pay a lot more :)
