I am not a professional tape measure user. I type all day, so admittedly my experience with these things is limited. At the same time, I've walked about a dozen tape measures in my 42 years. All the popular brands you've heard of. None of them cost more than $20. I'm trying to make a drawer for my jeep and the last tape I bought doesn't work anymore. As soon as I opened the package and picked up the tape, I felt good. It appears to be well made and the perfect size. I like very wide. long. Tape end and attached magnets. It's something so small, but I've found it to be far more useful than any cartridge I've bought in the past. The gliding action is also smooth. Seems to be the perfect tape measure for anything under 12 feet. If it falls apart before I've finished my closet I will of course come back to my review and sand the product accordingly (10/2021).
