Review on OPALRAY Dimmable Incandescent Equivalent Bulb - 12V 24V Solution by Chase Dunn

I'm so disappointed in them. I have been buying OPALRAY lamps for many years and they have all been excellent. I have the 4w and 6w versions, both do a great job with nice warm light and they are VERY efficient. Also, they fade well. I was hoping these 8 watt versions would be the same, only brighter. Unfortunately they overheat. I have two 12 volt bulbs that I have used with other OPALRAY bulbs for a number of years and they work great. I swapped out those 8 watt versions and the base got so hot you couldn't touch it. I noticed a problem when the light started blinking and came back on after about 2 hours. Please make sure they are working properly so I can order a replacement one day.
