Review on AEM 22 680C Cold Intake System by Dante Black

All parts are high quality. I chose it because of the cost savings for almost the same over TRD CAI. Since the truck already has an air intake from the wheel arch, I didn't see the need for a brand new $400 kit. I just needed a straight pipe with a better filter. A dry filter is easier to maintain than an oil filter. Installation was very easy - took about 1.5 hours as I took my time to be exact. The only issue was that one of the bolts they sent was 8mm not 6mm so I had to contact them - they froze the correct piece and I was on my way. I also installed a Borla exhaust and a new throttle body gasket at the same time (to get rid of the new whistling noise) and now the truck sounds great. I haven't had it long enough to report mpg. I don't feel any change in horsepower or torque, but the truck seems to shift and accelerate more smoothly.
