I actually bought this to hopefully stretch my back AND plantar fascia (sole of my feet). It's not strong enough to stand on. Two pieces of plastic that hold the tab and slot together. Are the small protrusions on the curved part meant to stretch or massage your back? Ok, not bad, but not enough for the price. If your back hurts a lot and you can't lie down on a ball or a pillow, for example, this might be what you're looking for. But it just isn't specific enough to an item to be worth buying separately. There are other more durable devices that can be positioned in different ways that make them worth buying.
