I initially ordered two to replace a faulty water pressure sensor on the sea water pump on one of my 2004 Mercruiser 8.1S HO. The first gauge read 45psi with the engine off, when it should have been measuring head pressure through the hull - less than 2psi. When I unplugged it to replace the block with a second sensor, water leaked in through the sensor housing - a pressure sensor was missing. The second block showed 38 psi. I ordered a replacement and the first one showed 45psi so I didn't even bother with the fourth. I went ahead and bought the OEM version from my local Mercury dealer and paid $152 per unit. But due to the lack of quality control I think that's the price you have to pay. Very disappointed.
