Bought for my wheelchair to transport hot coffee. (I burned my thighs and lower abdomen by carrying it between my legs multiple times.) Unfortunately, due to the weight of my ceramic mug filled with coffee, it kept sagging even when I tightened it as tightly as I could. I bought a rubber band that solved the problem. The "Capture" mechanism has a small disadvantage. If you try to take it off, you'll have to turn the top clamp arm almost until it runs out of threads to open the jaws enough to pull the entire bottle cage off the stem it's attached to. The main reason I bought this model was that it can be easily removed without tools. Although it is actually removable, it is quite difficult to do so. Since I have to change seats several times a day and the bottle holder gets in the way, I have to put it on and take it off all the time. The ideal attachment mechanism would be one that has a really quick release. That said, if you install it and leave it alone, I think it works fine (with the addition of the rubber band I used). (Hockey tape, duct tape, or electrical tape can also work.)
