A good product. Well done. Does his job.

I agree with the rest of the reviews, instructions would be nice. Although it's not that difficult to understand, why not make people's lives easier. You will need a #3 metric wrench to adjust the set screw to rotate the bracket for vertical or horizontal installation. It just makes loosening and tightening easier. You have to throw one. The quick release clamp works great with the little piece of rubber pad they give you. It would be nice if it was a little bigger, I only have one but it doesโ€ฆ

Such a great cup holder, someone stole it

Such a nice cup holder, someone stole it off my bike at the beach last year. Works well and is fairly easy to assemble, but the design could be better. I found that the cup holder worked even better if I wrapped tape around the steering wheel. I didn't have to tease it to make it better. The clamp should be better designed out of the box. I didn't care about the design of the mount either. You need to twist and twist and twist the black piece on top and then fold it. The problem is that youโ€ฆ

Not for heavier bottles and not for faint hands

Great cage but difficult to assemble. I tried several options for attaching to the handlebars due to slippage - no matter how hard the crank was set. My best bet was to wrap the black gorilla tape around the handlebars a few times and then tighten the mount as tight as possible. That said, it's probably only suitable for a road bike and not a mountain bike - for two reasons: 1. The mount, as discussed above, has a tendency to slip under the weight of a water bottle and some bumps2. The cageโ€ฆ

Pretty good, but the clamping mechanism could be improved.

Bought for my wheelchair to transport hot coffee. (I burned my thighs and lower abdomen by carrying it between my legs multiple times.) Unfortunately, due to the weight of my ceramic mug filled with coffee, it kept sagging even when I tightened it as tightly as I could. I bought a rubber band that solved the problem. The "Capture" mechanism has a small disadvantage. If you try to take it off, you'll have to turn the top clamp arm almost until it runs out of threads to open the jaws enough toโ€ฆ

I used it for my boat.

I bought this product for my boat. I have several round handrails on my boat but no drink holders. When I found this easy-to-carry product, I took a risk and ordered two. Happy to say they work great! They hold plastic water bottles and metal water bottles very well, as well as adult soda cans and bottles if they have foam or neoprene koozies. Without Kuzi they can rattle a bit, but still don't fall out. They hold the rails in place and are easy to move. They can also slip a little with rubberโ€ฆ

OK with attitude Good for water bottle cage

I ordered this with high hopes for a quick release feature but was soon disappointed. The jaws don't open wide enough to climb over the bars (I have stock 25.4mm bars) unless you unscrew the quick release almost completely. Then you have to screw the mechanism in, but the tab is quite small and it's difficult to push firmly with just your fingertips before closing/locking the tab. As a result, the handle wasn't tight enough to hold a full water bottle without rotating the entire cage downโ€ฆ

got it to work on water bottle holders

At first I thought from the picture that the clip portion could expand to accommodate the width of the bottle or cup you put in. It is not. If the bottle or mug is too big for him, there is no way to do it. Second, I found the part of the clamp that attaches to the bike grips surprisingly difficult. It comes with a small rubber square which I assume stays in place on the handlebars but that doesn't help much. If I had a full heavy bottle in the holder when driving over bumps, it often changedโ€ฆ
