Review on 🚲 M-Wave Plastic Bicycle Bottle Cage Black: The Perfect Universal Fit Solution by Sean Zamora

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not for heavier bottles and not for faint hands

Great cage but difficult to assemble. I tried several options for attaching to the handlebars due to slippage - no matter how hard the crank was set. My best bet was to wrap the black gorilla tape around the handlebars a few times and then tighten the mount as tight as possible. That said, it's probably only suitable for a road bike and not a mountain bike - for two reasons: 1. The mount, as discussed above, has a tendency to slip under the weight of a water bottle and some bumps2. The cage isn't adjustable, so it's likely to only work with a "right-sized" bottle. The smaller bottle pops out immediately. A small bungee will fix something. NOTE: Once closed, you can use a large screwdriver to open the bracket again. If you're looking for a product that doesn't move at all once mounted on a pole, check out Topeak CageMount (also available through Revain). It works very well even when mountain biking.
