Inexpensive, somewhat low quality, they certainly don't scream hard, but they don't scream TERRIBLE either. These are budget clips and you can see that not only in their looks but also in their functions as well as their strength. Speaking of strength - one aspect is the EXTEND configuration - where you can reverse the clamp and make it an extension instead of a clamp. but they are small in the hand - and I'm sure if you handled them roughly they would cry and run home (the ala might break) - so far I've only used them to clamp plastic towels - I know. watched them in full POWAH!
