Review on Swiffer Vacuum Cleaner Carpet Cleaning by Jeremy Lane

Why 3 Stars? .I am torn about this product because if it works then there is no other. Equipped with a powerful motor, it picks up pet hair and small debris and uses disposable pads to pick up dust from the floor. I didn't mind buying replacement pads as it was a quick and efficient way to clean hard floors. (we have wood and tiles). It is light and dirt resistant, small but big enough for daily cleaning with a replaceable filter, but really lasts a long time. (Yes, you should shake it out regularly. Not much). Now the bad news. Battery life (without charging) looks short for a $40-$50 cordless vacuum. I worked on the first for over a year and on the last the battery died in less than 6 months. (Full transparency. I used it about 3 times a week.) You can't change the internal battery through Swiffer. The design seems more disposable and I'm happy to keep my little electronics running for well over a year or so. So buy it, but don't be discouraged if you only have a year and want to change the battery.
