I bought this to keep my mirror cabinet door closed because it is next to the bathroom where the litter box is. My cats like to come into my closet, I don't know why as they don't stay there, but of course they don't close the door when they go out. My big cat is determined to open the door and I don't know how, but she does it anyway. So I would recommend this product, although it doesn't always do the job I was hoping it does, it does help a lot. As other reviewers have pointed out, make sure the gap under your door is no bigger than the thickest part of the door. Break. It might seem obvious but I was glad I was reminded of this before purchasing.
